Trying to be kind?!

So, I had a flight out of Narita International Airport in a week. Then, I had someone ask a favor to bring some things to an event on the 13th. Based on the information that I received, they said it was food wrapping. So, I assumed it was compact food wrappings, thinking it was not a lot. So, trying to be kind, I said okay. Then the drama began.   They ordered the things they needed. One day, when I got home, there was a giant box full of rice ball packs. I was astonished. There were 1800 pieces in a giant box. I told them it was too big. It was over the size limit that airline companies stated.   So, I told them I needed to purchase a smaller box and pack them tightly so it all fits. So, I did, after consulting with them and deciding on the course of action. Then there were 7 bags left. So, I gave them to the friend of the person who asked the favor.   After everything was packed, he called and asked if I could bring all of it. In that moment, I wrote a rule in my...

Dating sucks in Japan

Japan is a culture of busy bodies, I think. Everybody is in a rush to go somewhere. Advanced booking is generally a must. It is very common to schedule a meeting with your friends a month in advance.   In Mongolia, it is unheard of to schedule a hangout. Usually, I would call up my friend and ask if they would like to go out or have coffee. It is very common to go over to my friend's place to hang out. I was hesitant at first because I had been catfished through a similar application. But I am giving it a try.   It is very weird to schedule a date a month in advance. Ok it is okay to schedule a date in a week or two, but a month advance feels weird. Also, I still feel hesitant to meet up because I am IMAGINING everything to go bad. My mind is saying prepare for the worst.   Then I remember BrenĂ© Brown’s TE...

Welcome to 2026.

First of all, Happy New Year to you and your loved ones. I hope this year will bring you what you have wished for.       Secondly, as the new year begins, we all like to put some impossible challenges in the name of resolution and changing ourselves. I did that every single year. Then every single year, by the end of it, I blame myself for not completing the things that I said to myself that I would accomplish that year. So, this year, I said to myself that I would do only one thing. That is, I will not put a challenge for myself. I will do things that I will like and do those things with a mindset of someone who wants to be a better human being.       Lastly, I would like to see new areas and take an international trip.       That is it for now.       I have more things to share about our family roadtrip and work ski trip. Also, all the drama about my work, of course.     ...
