Trying to be kind?!

So, I had a flight out of Narita International Airport in a week. Then, I had someone ask a favor to bring some things to an event on the 13th. Based on the information that I received, they said it was food wrapping. So, I assumed it was compact food wrappings, thinking it was not a lot. So, trying to be kind, I said okay. Then the drama began.   They ordered the things they needed. One day, when I got home, there was a giant box full of rice ball packs. I was astonished. There were 1800 pieces in a giant box. I told them it was too big. It was over the size limit that airline companies stated.   So, I told them I needed to purchase a smaller box and pack them tightly so it all fits. So, I did, after consulting with them and deciding on the course of action. Then there were 7 bags left. So, I gave them to the friend of the person who asked the favor.   After everything was packed, he called and asked if I could bring all of it. In that moment, I wrote a rule in my...

It has been a minute.

Greetings to whoever is reading this, First of all, THANK YOU for being here. I have noticed that as we opt to watch content on video-enabled sites, we are losing touch, and our reading skills are slowly deteriorating. To avoid losing that and improve my English writing skills, I created the blog, and I thank you for reading whatever shenanigans come out of my mind.   Secondly, this week was extremely busy. After coming back from Mongolia at midnight, I had work at 8 am the next day. This was my second program for the summer, and I planned it for months. I am the type of person who would like to plan and execute my projects well and with quality. So, despite my tiredness, I pushed through and am relaxing now.   I don't run the program alone. Another teacher runs it with me. However, that teacher is like a little boy. His concentration is very short, and he doesn't know how to communicate well. I admit, sometimes, I wish I communicated more with him and spelled everything out t...

Poor communication (and planning) but execution without a hitch

So, it was a long Saturday.       In the morning, I had First-Aid training, which I wanted to attend to refresh my memory (I got certified last year).       A background story is needed here.       A few weeks ago, the person, whose position had only received a name makeover, wanted to have a training session without consulting anyone. That is fine. It is a good chance to learn from each other and discuss more about our programs. Then he sent an email about BBQ. In the beginning, everybody thought it was only for the staff, where we would casually hang out and get to know each other better. Then he sent another email saying that we are going to open up the BBQ to our students and their parents. It got escalated quickly because he decided he wanted to do it. Then he complained about the menu item, which he wanted to cook a burger. Also, he was second-guessing (or more like doubting) the lady who is working wi...
